Application Details and Requirements

Academia María Reina uses a rolling admissions process. Once a prospective student submits all the required documents, we evaluate the application for possible admission.

Our applications are submitted electronically at admisionesamr@mariareina.com or call us at and must include the following:

  • A completed admission request form (fill out in button below)
  • 2” x 2” photograph of the student
  • School transcript
  • Standardized test results
  • 7th, 8th & 9th grades: Examen Cooperativo
  • All other grades: results of a standardized test
  • A no-debt certificate from the current school
  • Conduct report from previous school
  • In case of divorced parents, a certificate of legal custody
  • PVAC-3 vaccination
  • Oral examination certificate (download below)
  • Required only for 8th and 10th grades
  • Medical certificate (download below)

Scholarships and Financial Aid

As a Catholic institution following the educational mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood, NY, AMR is deeply committed to attending the needs of our times, responding to the principles of social justice, and collaborating with the education and formation of the Puerto Rican woman.

To fulfill these goals, AMR has established scholarship and financial aid programs designed to provide an education of excellence to talented girls with limited economic resources and financial assistance to families and students within our community who find themselves in need.
